nosh’d

Kwong Chiu was once a small restaurant in Penang, Malaysia that specialized in Cantonese dishes. When the pandemic arrived in the country, the restaurant was forced to close, moving its business online. As the business continued to grow, so did the founder’s desire to expand his menu beyond Cantonese food. He tapped me to help rebrand his company.

Brand Identity

I worked with the team to design the logo, tag line, color palette, and voice and tone for all of nosh’d’s communications. We wanted to seem down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and helpful to our customers.

Content Strategy

I developed a marketing strategy from scratch that prioritizes brand awareness and sales goals. For each month, I planned out and executed a social calendar, keeping in-person events in mind. When it came to the social content itself, I designed and wrote copy for almost every social post, ensuring that they meet KPIs.

Art Direction

Despite the 12-hour time difference, I directed photography when needed, providing shot lists and feedback for the photographer.

Website Design

I helped build a Shopify website for the new company, creating individual pages, writing website copy, and editing product page copy.
